Sandvika, 25 September (OSE: NORCO): Norconsult Norge AS, a subsidiary of Norconsult ASA, has been selected by Stord municipality to design a new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP).
The contract includes design basis, zoning plans, water- and wastewater masterplans and procurement assistance needed to build a new WWTP and corresponding wastewater transport systems.

The WWTP will satisfy existing and future requirements for treating wastewater, contributing to a clean fjord system”, says Vegard Jacobsen, EVP Norway regions at Norconsult.
The project starts in Q4 and will mainly be carried out by engineers from Norconsult’s offices in Bergen, Sandvika, Tromsø, Stord and Haugesund. The estimated value of the contract is between NOK 40 million and NOK 60 million.
The nomination of the contract to Norconsult is subject to a standstill period which expires on 07 October.
